How to Reach There? – Sawai Madhopur is the nearest railhead and well connected to Ranthambore via road.

2. Sariska National Park, Alwar

Sariska National Park is home to Royal Bengal Tigers, located in Alwar District of Rajasthan. It is spread over and area of 866 square kilometers and dotted with rocky landscape. Unlike Ranthambore National Park, it was also used as the hunting grounds for the princely states of Alwar in the past. Later in the year of 1955 the protected area was declared as wildlife reserve was given the status of National Park in the year of 1978 by the Government of India.

Sariska has good connectivity and easily accessible via road from Delhi (200 km) and Jaipur (107 Kms). The rich population of tigers in the park is the prime attraction of the Sariska. Apart from tigers Sariska also houses large number of other wildlife species such as Sambar, Chinkara, Nilgai, Golden jackals, striped hyenas, leopards etc.

Best Time to Visit Sariska National Park: The months of October to June are the best time to explore the wilderness of the park.

How to Reach There? – Sariska is well connected via road to Hindaun, Jaipur and Delhi.

3. Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary

Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary in Rajasthan is one of the famous wildlife spot in Rajasthan and really treats for nature lovers. It is located in Aravali range – one of the oldest mountain ranges in India. Moun t Abu was declared wildlife sanctuary in the year of 1980 by the government of India. It has igneous rock which has huge hollow adds unique features. Wildlife enthusiasts can take safari and see variety of animals like Indian hares, tigers, leopards, bears, langoors, foxes, wild boars etc. The sanctuary has near about 250 species of birds and great collection of bamboo plants and orchids.

Keoladeo Ghana National Park or also known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is considered one of the best avifauna in the world. It houses great variety of migratory birds and waterside birds during the period of hibernal season which pulls large number of ornithologists across the globe. This popular bird sanctuary was declared as a protected zone by the Government of India in the year of 1971 and later it was included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It houses 379 floral species, 366 bird species and various animals.
