Deer's, wild boars, otters ,river Dolphin, and more than 250 species of birds, around 130 species of fish, many species of reptiles and amphibians are found here. Sunderbans has estuarine mangrove eco-system and is known for its spectacular flora and fauna. Its exciting bird watching area is home to different colourful birds like Kingfisher, White-bellied Sea eagle, Plovers Lap-Wings, Pelican and many more. Kolkata to Sundarbans :
Pickup from Kolkata airport in a luxurious air conditioned Volvo and drive for three hours to reach Godhkhali, Transfer from Godhkhali jetty by a motor boat to the resort which is located in the Sundarbans Islands. Sail for about an hour and a half on the waters of River Hogil, Gomar, Durgaduni and Gumdi to reach destination. After taking lunch, leave on motor boat and view wildlife from the Sajnekhali watchtower. Usually the tigers can be seen from this tower. Besides this other wildlife like axis deers, wild boars and crocodiles can also be seen from this watch tower. There is a sweet water pond and the animals come here to drink water. Behind the pond are vast stretches of land devoid of any vegetation. Visit the Sajnekhali Museum and Mangrove Interpretation Centre. Dinner and night stay at the hotel.

Sundarbans :
In the early morning depart for a full day cruise through the winding rivers and tapered creeks of the Sundarbans National Park and an unforgettable birding experience. Delicious food will be prepared as well as served on the motor boat. Visit the different watch towers of Neti Dhopani as well as Do Banki and see the raw and wild landscape, the scenic sights of forest so magnificent in its pristine untouched beauty.
As you undertake the interesting canopy walk at Do Banki you will get the opportunity to view wildlife from a cautiously netted enclosure. This follows a visit to the Spotted Deer Rehabilitation Centre. Enjoy the pleasure of cruising deep in the "Indian Amazon" and also view the magical sights around the islands of the Sundarban Tiger Project Area. An experienced Naturalist and Guide will take you around to view the dense Mangrove forest from close quarters, sauntering deeply inside the narrow creeks. Return in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel or the boat. -

Sundarbans to Kolkata :
Early next morning, cruise along the deep creeks to reach a Chargheri Char, the southernmost village of South 24 Parganas. This exciting village tour is a special attraction where you get a unique chance to have a feel of the "Mudflats" which are unique physical feature of Sundarbans. You can carry your 'Bermudas' and wade in the inviting waters of the Sundarbans . You can get an opportunity to see Star Fish, small Octopus, Jelly Fish, Horse shoe Crab, prawns and other unusual variety of fishes.
An interactive visit to a village will help you to learn about the customs and experiences of the villagers in the forest. Also meet the Honey Collectors , the woodcutters ,fishermen, and listen to their unusual and daring experiences of the Jungle.
After lunch at the resort, we leave for Godhkhali so that we can reach Kolkata in the evening . Depart for onward destination with unforgettable memories of Sunderbans.
