The Jim Corbett’s jeep or a Canter Safari is a wonderful experience for adventure freaks and people who enjoy wildlife photography. Absent from the limitations of unexciting life, the Jeep safari at Corbett Park is a drive to an amazing world, which is unharmed by mankind. The wildlife safari investigates the basic backwoods that still exists in this beautiful Corbett Park. A number of species of sloth bear, deer, wild boar, leopard, fresh water dolphin, and gharial crocodiles, Royal Bengal tiger and approximately 500 species of birds can be seen in this grassy and thick Corbett National Park.
Though Corbett Park can be visited at any part of the year but the best time to go for the this place is from September to March. The days are very pleasant but it does get a little chilly at night. These days even online booking is available which can be done well in advance. It is very significant to have permits for the entrance in Corbett Tiger Reserve. For the day visits, the permits are accessible from the entry gates but permits for the night stay are issued at Ramnagar from the CTR Reception Office. Reservation can be made in advance by forwarding the required tariffs and all the necessary details in advance .Once the accommodation is arranged, the permits can be taken from Ramnagar office before you enter the park.
Safari Zones In Corbett
Bijrani Safari Zone :

Jhirna Safari Zone :
Safari charges are pretty nominal if you are many people together and for rate differ for both the Indians as well as foreigners. Gir National Park Safari charges and safari timing for Indian and Foreigners are given below in chart.
Durga Devi Jeep Safari :
This zone is 28 Km from Ramnagar. This is hilly area and is situated along the banks of Ramganga River.
Dhikala Safari Zone :
Jeep Safari is not allowed by corbett forest department only allowed who have Night stay permit in Dhikala Forest Lodge or canter safari allow for this zone.

Important Notes Corbett National Park :
- To book safari we require written request including all visitor's full name, age, gender would be going for Corbett Jeep Safari.
- We need an identification proof. ID Proof: DL Number, PAN Card Number, Voter ID, Passport Number, Student ID for each online permit.
- These ID required to be submitted before safari and please carry original same Id at the time of safari.
- Please mention dates of drives including morning and afternoon information along with the type of vehicle required i.e. jeep.
- All vehicles will remain subject to availability until the drive.
- Every morning & evening 30 - 30 jeep safari are allowed to travel into various forest zones.
